ScHoolboy Q plans to bring his new Blue Lips album to life in select cities across the country for his upcoming tour.

The TDE signee took to social media on Wednesday, April 24 and announced the dates for his "Blue Lips Weekends" tour. The limited string of shows will begin on July 18 in Toronto and continues in various cities for the following three weekends until it concludes in Seattle on Hip-Hop's birthday, August 11. In another post, Q suggested the tour might be extended in the future.

“Only 11 sHows,” he wrote on X. “MigHt add more weekends.”

The tour comes in support of his sixth studio LP Blue Lips via Top Dawg Entertainment. His latest LP comes with 18 fresh tracks including hits like "Yeern 101" and "Blueslides." It also features several collaborations with Ab-Soul, Freddie Gibbs, Rico Nasty, Jozzy, Childish Major, AzChike, Devin Malik and Lance Skiiwalker. Q also recruited revered beatmakers like The Alchemist, Kal Banx, Cardo and others to throw down on the project.

ScHoolboy Q's tour announcement comes a few weeks after he tarnished all hopes of a new Black Hippy album. During his recent appearance on The Danny Brown Show, Q declared he's not "making no Black Hippy s**t" anytime soon. He also added everyone in the group — which consists of him, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul & Jay Rock — is on their own respective journeys.

“I think we’re all kind of on our separate paths right now," Q explained. "Dot is doing his own thing with pgLang. I’m doing my own thing, curating a new artist. I did that part already, I gotta have this second part ’cause I got like 18 more albums to make. So it’s like I’m tryna figure out this phase before I get to the third phase. And Ab-Soul, he’s working, Jay Rock‘s working. I just don’t see where we’ll ever have time to.”
